At a glance
- Who it's for
- Founders, analysts, operations and product aspirants, and early developers who want to build useful tools with AI assistance responsibly.
- Entry level
- Fit check. Comfort with logic and willingness to read code. HTML/JS or Python basics helpful but not mandatory. Fit check — a short (10–15 min) readiness task before payment confirmation. Learners who are not ready are routed to a feeder Sprint, not admitted with hidden homework.
- Format
- Online · a focused five-day live online studio
- Duration and schedule
- Days 1–4 are 90-minute live sessions. Day 5 is an extended 2–3 hour Capability Showcase.
- What you produce
- Deployed app + spec + test & security log
- Fees
- ₹2,000 for the complete 5-day Sprint
- What it is not
- Not a software-engineering qualification. One small, reviewed, working tool. Not a job or placement service. SkillsNCR does not guarantee employment, placement, salary or interview outcomes.
AI app builders produce impressive first drafts, but learners cannot specify what they want, review what was generated, find the bug, or tell whether data and secrets are safe.
Use AI coding tools to take one small internal tool from idea to a working, tested app — while staying in control of requirements, code review, data and security.
Your five days, day by day
Days 1–4 are 90-minute live sessions. Day 5 is an extended 2–3 hour Capability Showcase. Open each day to see what you do and what you leave with.
Day 1Spec before code90 min
- Pick one internal tool (e.g. expense claim tracker, class attendance app, lead tracker)
- Users, screens, data model, rules and "must not" list
- Write the spec the AI will work from
You leave the day with: One-page app spec + data model
Day 2First build with AI90 min
- Set up repo and tool; project instructions/rules file
- Generate the skeleton; run it locally
- Read and annotate generated code: what each part does
You leave the day with: Running app v0 + code walkthrough notes
Day 3Features, data and iteration90 min
- Implement core flow and data persistence
- Iterate in small steps; commit after each working change
- Debug with AI without blindly accepting fixes
You leave the day with: App v1 with core flow working
Day 4Test, secure, review90 min
- Test cases from the spec; edge cases
- Secrets, auth basics, input validation, data exposure check
- Deploy to a preview URL
- Human code review and revision
You leave the day with: App v2 + test log + security checklist
Day 5Capability Showcase2–3 hr
Changed-case challenge: Reviewer adds a requirement or breaks an assumption (new field, role-based access, bad input)
- Demo against the spec
- Learner implements and verifies the change live with AI help
- Explain what the AI wrote, what the learner changed and the remaining risks
You leave the day with: Final proof pack, submitted after the changed-case challenge
Tools you work with
- Cursor or Claude Code (default)
- Lovable / Bolt
- GitHub
- Cloudflare Pages / Vercel / Netlify
- Supabase or Google Sheets as data store
Tool names describe what is used in the Sprint. No vendor endorsement, certification or licence is implied.
Deployed app + spec + test & security log
This is the work you explain, question and adapt in the Day 5 Capability Showcase.
Your proof pack
- 01Spec
- 02Repo with commit history
- 03Deployed preview
- 04Test log
- 05Security checklist
- 06AI-use disclosure
- 07Change implemented on Day 5
What a reviewer checks
- App meets the spec's must-haves
- Learner can explain key code paths
- Secrets not committed; inputs validated
- Change implemented without breaking existing flow
- Honest AI-use disclosure

Your work has to survive a changed case.
On Day 5 you present the work, explain key decisions, identify limitations and respond when part of the case changes. The final proof pack is submitted after that challenge.
- Present
Walk the reviewer through the work and the decisions behind it.
- Question
Answer challenges on evidence, assumptions and risk.
- Adapt
Reviewer adds a requirement or breaks an assumption (new field, role-based access, bad input)
- Defend
Submit the final proof pack and explain what changed and why.

Do I need prior experience?
Fit check. Comfort with logic and willingness to read code. HTML/JS or Python basics helpful but not mandatory. Fit check — a short (10–15 min) readiness task before payment confirmation. Learners who are not ready are routed to a feeder Sprint, not admitted with hidden homework.
